Yonder there beyond the mystique hills Underneath the misty layers An edifice stands beaming With Climbers gyrating around Cocooned in boulders Bubbles of life throb within Embodying joys and sorrows together Emanating a rhythm The grass blades are manicured The wet mud is soporific Trees skylark to shower Their rejuvenating blessings Where else on Earth lies The abode of dainty darlings Their musings, peals of laughter Accompanied by chirpy twittering? The light of life is young Enlightens our tender years Such experiences too float by To nurture us into matured bearers And finally, the abode is Heavenly A Home away from Home Reverentially and Lovingly, Christened 'Geetanjali'. |

about this one, I feel that the words are a bit too complicated and so the immediacy of the poem somewhere gets lost... it needs struggle to understand it, if you know what I mean...
also, I have heard that it is not good to use archaic words in poetry while writing which are redundant, outdated...
