Torn

The Fire Of Troy, c late 16th c. (Fotosearch)

When a gaze
pierces more than spears,
Gory chapters
ink pages of history
'Bloods' change their course
Armours reveal faces,
that betray feeling faces
A Troy is a spectacle
A mockery of life itself
He looks down,
and laments
Cries that reach above.

Come Away With Me!

Yonder there beyond the mystique hills

Underneath the misty layers
An edifice stands beaming
With Climbers gyrating around

Cocooned in boulders
Bubbles of life throb within
Embodying joys and sorrows together
Emanating a rhythm

The grass blades are manicured
The wet mud is soporific
Trees skylark to shower
Their rejuvenating blessings

Where else on Earth lies
The abode of dainty darlings
Their musings, peals of laughter
Accompanied by chirpy twittering?

The light of life is young
Enlightens our tender years
Such experiences too float by
To nurture us into matured bearers

And finally, the abode is Heavenly
A Home away from Home
Reverentially and Lovingly,
Christened 'Geetanjali'.
